Hello Cougar Families!

My name is Sandra Holzer, I am the Family Engagement Liaison here at Columbia.  I am so excited to be part of the Columbia community.  We can all work together as a team to ensure your student(s) are supported, heard, and to provide a positive experience at school.

You may be wondering, what is a Family Liaison?

As a school’s Family Liaison, I foster and bridge the communication between school and home by helping parents and families get the information, assistance, and support they need to ensure their student’s academic and social success in their school community. My goals are: to build strong and effective partnerships with families that can help students and families thrive;  to create opportunities for families along with school staff to engage in our community and to strengthen relationships/partnerships with outside community partners and educational organizations focused on family engagement linked to learning.
