Curious About School Delays or Cancelations?
School may be delayed or canceled because of weather conditions or other events. Bus routes may also be affected by unsafe travel conditions. The district communicates school closures and delays in a variety of ways including phone calls, emails and text messages to families. That means it is important to keep contact information up to date with your child’s school. Additionally, we post information on our district website, social media spaces and to local TV and radio stations. Learn more about staying informed during weather events by clicking THIS LINK.

Prepare for Cold and Wet Recesses:
No matter how old they are, kids won't stay out of puddles, drips and mud. They want to toss the football or kick the soccerball and they slide in the grass. We can't provide extra clothes for everyone, so please send a set of dry clothes to school with your students. We want them to stay warm as well as dry so warm coats with hoods are a great idea too! Umbrellas are not allowed at recess for safety reasons.

2026 Capital Bond Call To Action:
The district is looking for community members to serve on the 2026 Capital Bond Advisory Committee. The committee will help with a variety of data resulting in a set of recommendations for the Superintendent and School Board to use to determine projects for a possible 2026 bond measure to be presented to voters. We need representatives from every school community with varied perspectives to help balance the committee’s work. Meetings will be held on the first and third Tuesday of the month (in the evening) beginning January 21st and may run through early-mid June. Apply here to be part of this committee.
