Important Drop-Off and Pick-Up Reminders:

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up:
  • Drop-offs and Pick-ups occur in the North lot only.
  • Drop-offs form ONLY ONE line.
  • Pick-ups form two lines.
  • While in line: please stay IN car, don't block driveway.
  • Students exit/enter car at the curb only.
Life Academic and Preschool Student Drop-Off:
  • Park in the designated 6 spots or disabled parking (if applicable).
  • A supervisor will greet your student.
  • Drop/Pick-up and go!
These guidelines are meant to keep our students safe. Do NOT pass others while exiting or entering. Do NOT turn left out of the parking lot no matter how clear it may look, this will slow down the process. Please remember this line must keep moving. Drop/Pick-up and go!

PTA events and opportunities:

Popsicles on the Playground - 9/12
Join us our playground from 3pm-5pm on Friday, September 12th. This is a great chance to meet other Columbia families and for kiddos to get to play with their new friends!

PTA General Mtg - 9/25 @ 6PM
Our 1st PTA General Meeting of the 25-26 school year will be on Thursday, September 25th at 6pm in the school library. We are planning on having a zoom option available also (link will be emailed and posted on Facebook before the meeting). Please join us as we start planning our events for this school year! If you can't make the meeting but you are interested in helping out with an event, please email president@mycolumbiapta.org.

Dine-Out for Columbia PTA - 9/23
Columbia PTA is hosting a Back-to-School PIZZA Dine-Out Night! Take the night off from cooking and eat pizza with friends and neighbors instead! Closer to the event, you'll find the flyer here for more information.

Volunteers Needed!
Popcorn Friday Chair:
Chairperson is in charge of maintaining supplies and recruiting volunteers for our monthly Popcorn Friday event. Training will be provided. In general, this is a fun activity and great way to meet other parents as you can socialize while preparing the popcorn. Email Tran if you are interested.

Library Help:
Mrs. Lyle, our librarian, would love one or two volunteers to assist in the library with shelving books, helping kids with book selection/checkout, etc. for an hour or so in the afternoons. Email Mrs. Lyle if you are interested.
