Kinder Orientation

Kindergarten Orientation will be held on Friday, May 15th! This event is for families of incoming 2026-27 Kindergarteners to learn about what it means to be a member of the Columbia Elementary Family, and what is needed for a successful Kindergarten year! The event takes place from 3-4pm in the Columbia Elementary Gym. Please enter through the doorway on the far left of the school grounds. You will be greeted by Principal Denton and provided with a passport to take you through the information tables that are available! Your child is welcome to come to the teacher-led tables where there will be two different activities for them to complete. Please visit all stations before you leave! There will be one final table for small group tours around the school before you leave, and you are welcome to visit the ‘Donuts with Grownups’ event near the playground, which begins at 4:00!
This event is an ‘Open House’ style, meaning you do not need to arrive promptly at 3:00, and you do not need to stay until 4:00. If you plan to attend, please complete this brief form- https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSemqvvwVBVjWae3zgO_mjoFDzUi3imT01HzzzdJOlZnZ8OaVQ/viewform?usp=dialog We hope to see you there! 😊
